Super 1s Wigan launched!
6th hub opens in Lancashire
The Lancashire Cricket Foundation was delighted to launch its sixth hub for the successful Lord's Taverners Super 1s programme at Wigan Youth Zone in October.
Super 1s is a disability cricket programme designed to give cricketing opportunities, both coaching and competitive, to young disabled people (12-25 year olds) via community based sessions. The programme aims to increase levels of confidence, communication, leadership and independence for disabled young people.
Wigan has now joined Manchester, Salford, Oldham, Bolton and Liverpool in hosting a hub.
