Clinton joined the Lancashire Cricket Foundation as Head of Cricket Relationships in December 2017. 

His remit is to oversee all aspects of recreational cricket in Lancashire, including clubs and leagues and coach education along with programmes such as Chance 2 Shine, All Stars Cricket which are all designed to grow the game and increase participation throughout the county at all levels. 

Clinton is a former Australian cricketer who played 84 first-class matches for Queensland as a right-handed middle order batsman, he is now a keen golfer in his spare time.
