Howard joined in May 2014 to lead on the Foundation’s community cohesion project, Sporting Foundations for Life and is now the Senior Project Activator for the Wicketz programme.
He also delivers the Education Without Boundaries programme, using Emirates Old Trafford as an inspirational base to re-engage children and young people with education.
Having worked for over 18 years in physical education and school sport development in Salford and Trafford, he brought with him a wealth of local, regional and national contacts and knowledge.
As a qualified secondary science teacher he’s also experienced the trials and tribulations of working with young people on a daily basis.
