Most giraffes are known for sticking their necks out, Lanky the Giraffe is no different.
After years of strutting around Emirates Old Trafford, posing for selfies, photobombing cricket matches and enjoying life as one of Lancashire Cricket's biggest stars, Lanky has decided it's time to give something back.
This year, he's swapping mascot duties for running shoes as he takes on the Manchester Half Marathon in support of Lancashire Cricket Foundation.
The Foundation uses the power of cricket to make a lasting difference across Lancashire and the North West, helping people of all ages improve their wellbeing, build confidence, develop new skills and access opportunities they may never have thought possible.
Every donation, big or small, will help Lancashire Cricket Foundation continue delivering life-changing programmes in schools, communities and cricket clubs across the county.
