ICC Cricket World Cup Trophy Tour comes to Emirates Old Trafford

Trophy Tour stops at Emirates Old Trafford

The latest stop on the ICC Cricket World Cup Trophy Tour brought the iconic silverware to Emirates Old Trafford.

With just two months to go until the tournament kicks off, the trophy visited the Manchester venue for a day of cricket celebration.

The day kicked off with a Trophy Breakfast when invited guests were joined by Mayor of Greater Manchester Andy Burnham, for a special Q&A with former Lancashire and England players, Warren Hegg and Phil DeFreitas.

Following that, two Lancashire Cricket Foundation programmes, Wicketz and Table Cricket, were given the opportunity to showcase their work with local schools invited along to take part in competitions and learning experiences.

The day was drawn to a close with Lancashire Cricket Members', supporters and staff all invited to take their photograph with the trophy.
