Apprenticeship at Emirates Old Trafford
The Lancashire Cricket Foundation are a member of Coach Core ‘Team Manchester’ which is a group of employers who are offering employment opportunities to individuals who have a passion for sport and the community they live in. We are seeking one passionate cricket enthusiast to join our team for the 15 month placement.
Roles and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will become a full time member of our team, working on a number of Lancashire Cricket Foundation initiatives throughout the apprenticeship. Roles may include coaching support on the existing Wicketz and Super 1s programmes, assisting in local schools on the Chance to Shine programme and associated administrative tasks. Successful candidates will be expected to work during Lancashire and International fixtures at Emirates Old Trafford. There will also be the opportunity to work across all Lancashire Cricket Foundation projects to gain a full understanding of our work.
Hours of work are flexible (30 hours per week) and will include some evenings and weekends. This is a multi-site apprenticeship so potential candidates must be able to travel independently across Greater Manchester.
