Women's and Girls mentoring programme

The Lancashire Cricket Foundation has developed a programme of personal development and training for women and girls between the ages of 16-25 from diverse communities living within the City of Manchester.  All training provided is FREE of charge. The programme lasts for two years. 

The programme will see participants receive training in various aspects of Cricket Development including an Introduction to Coaching and How to Coach, Leadership, Safeguarding and Protecting Children, First Aid and Officiating, and Scoring.

Participants will be provided with opportunities to become involved in Lancashire Cricket Foundation Cricket Development programmes as part of the overall programme. Key partners that work alongside the Foundation will also have input into the training and opportunities provided. Opportunities will include events in the City of Manchester and at Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground.

Bobby, Jen Barden (Women’s and Girls Cricket Development Manager and Rehaan Rather (Core Cities Activator) will meet with you individually for an informal chat. When the list of participants is confirmed, a meeting will be called to discuss the programme in more detail.

The deadline to register your interest is the end of February 2019.
