This two-day Young Volunteer Camp is designed for young people aged 13–24 who are interested in getting involved in volunteering within cricket.
It offers a fun and supportive environment to build confidence, develop new skills, and gain hands-on experience, while also helping local cricket clubs and community groups strengthen and grow their volunteer workforce.
Across the two days, participants will take part in interactive workshops and practical sessions covering the basics of coaching and officiating, including umpiring and scoring, as well as additional areas such as social media and marketing. There will also be the opportunity to work towards recognised qualifications, including the Activator and Young Officials awards. On day two, participants will put their learning into practice by helping to deliver cricket activities and games for children aged 7–11 (Years 3–6) in the afternoon.
This camp is ideal for anyone looking to get more involved in cricket, gain valuable experience for the future, and make a positive impact in their local community.
