Lee is a chartered accountant, who, prior to joining the Club in 2005, had 16 years’ experience with Deloitte. During his time at Lancashire Lee has developed a deep knowledge of the business of cricket and understanding of the wider industry in which Lancashire Cricket operates.
In his role as Finance Director, as well as managing the club’s day-to-day finances, he has been instrumental in bringing to Lancashire Cricket more than £30m of grant funding and securing numerous and significant bank and local authority loans.
During his 6 years as Finance and Operations Director Lee also played a pivotal role in the project management of stadium development, and the successful operation of all major matches. Lee has also been Club Secretary since 2012 and has been a Director of the Foundation since its inception when Lee also secured it’s charitable status.
