Come and join our walking cricket sessions!
Our Walking Cricket session was initially set up in 2019 and is aimed at men and women over 50 who want to keep active, improve physical and mental health, meet new friends and have fun.
It is an adaption of the traditional game and caters for all abilities. There is no running allowed and it is played with a softer ball.
Walking Cricket is not just about the physical benefits but is often, the enjoyment of the activity and each other’s company that motivates participants to come back every week.

"Really Enjoyable session. Not too taxing for a 72 year old like me. It’s a great way to keep active and meet new people. The social element afterwards is a great chance to catch up with everybody. Looking forward to future sessions" -Ralph
"Look forward to this session every week, I enjoy playing and the social element afterwards. It is something I look forward to attending and Kay and Will make sure that everyone is welcomed and included no matter of their ability."-Jerry
