Rob started work for the Lancashire Cricket Foundation as a Cricket Development Coach in 2007, he continued in that role in Tameside and then the city of Manchester until December 2015 - before taking up his current position as Disability and Inclusion Cricket Manager in January 2016.

He is responsible for the development and growth of disability cricket in Lancashire. This includes, but is not restricted to, the four major impairment groups of Physical Disability, Learning Disability, Visually Impaired and Hearing Impaired.

Rob's role includes participation work, for example schools coaching and Table Cricket, but also assisted national level competitions across all groups. He works alongside a large number of external organisations including the ECB, Lord’s Taverners, DPOs and education sector organisations.

He aims for disability cricket in Lancashire to be a nationally renowned leader in participation performance. To upskill players from the disability squads to enhance employment opportunities within cricket and to continue to provide cricketing opportunities for all.
