Cricket has been a central part of Luke Sumner's life, and he joined the Lancashire Cricket Foundation Youth Board to give back to the sport he loves. He is passionate about inspiring others to discover the joy of cricket, whether it's casually picking up a bat at a family BBQ, joining a local club, or pursuing cricket as a career. Luke is dedicated to creating more opportunities for people to get involved in the game.

With experience spanning junior cricket to over 60s/70s senior matches, Luke is committed to driving positive changes within the sport across the region. He believes in the potential for continuous improvement and sees his role on the Youth Board as a chance to be a voice for those enhancements. Additionally, this position offers him a unique perspective on cricket operations at a higher level.

Currently, Luke plays, coaches, and umpires cricket across Lancashire and Cheshire. He also manages social media for the Lancashire Over 60s/70s teams, combining his love for the sport with his skills in communication and community engagement.
