Super 1s

Report: Super 1s Community Hub competition

Disability Case Study: Super 1s to Super 9s

Super 1s

Super 1s is a Lord’s Taverners programme designed to give cricketing opportunities, both coaching and competitive, to young disabled people (12-25 year olds) via community based sessions. The programme aims to increase levels of confidence, communication, leadership and independence for disabled young people.

Lancashire Cricket Foundation currently have six community hubs delivering weekly cricketing opportunities. Hub sessions have a focus on personal development within the following strands - communication, confidence, leadership and independence.

Delivery takes place in local schools, colleges and community groups as a vehicle to drive participation at the weekly hubs. The programme has a competitive element with opportunities to compete against other hubs throughout the year.
