HAVE YOUR SAY — The 2023 Cricket Playing Survey is Live!

The Cricket Playing Survey is now live! Run by the ECB, it provides a chance for recreational players and volunteers to have their say and influence the future of cricket at grassroots level.

Over the past few years, this feedback has helped us shape the game.

All survey participants will have the option to win one of the following:

  • One Ashes England Men’s Test Team signed shirt (Prize Draw 1 – one winner)
  • One Ashes England Women’s Test Team signed shirt (Prize Draw 2 – one winner)
  • One Ashes England Men’s Test Team signed Bat (Prize Draw 3 – one winner)

Competition T&Cs can be found here.

Sharing your opinion on how the sport is run today and how you think cricket could develop and improve provides valuable insight to the ECB, counties and leagues across England and Wales to turn your ideas into actions. It will take a maximum of 10 minutes, depending on your selections.

The survey will run from 04/08/2023 until 31/08/2023.

Disparity Policy 2023

This Policy intends to address the disparity between players in Recreational Cricket where such disparity cannot be dealt with through the existing safety mechanisms and a concern remains regarding the health and safety of players.

Current safety mechanisms such as player selection, umpire adjudication and use of protective equipment can be utilised to protect the safety, health, and wellbeing of players along with local league and County Board involvement. However, it is recognised that in some circumstances a gap remains.
