Lancashire star lights up Table Cricket Christmas Competition at Emirates Old Trafford
Lancashire batsman Rob Jones made it a Christmas to remember for participants in the Lord's Taveners Lancashire Table Cricket Competition held at Emirates Old Trafford.
10 schools in the Greater Manchester area came together for a Christmas celebration of Table Cricket, part of the national competition which was eventually won by Redwood School of Rochdale.
Jones attended the competition for a second successive year, to cheer on the teams before handing out medals and certificates to participants at the end of the day.

The Lancashire Cricket Foundation, in partnership with the Lord’s Taverners provides a Table Cricket pathway for young people with a disability.
Table Cricket is played on a table tennis table, side panels and sliding fielders are placed around the table to form an arena. A small ball and ramp are used to bowl and wooden bat allows players to score runs.
