Statement on the temporary suspension of the Lancashire Line and Friends of the Foundation weekly draws

  • Weekly draws suspended due to ongoing situation
  • Door-to-door collections on hold but Direct Debits to continue
  • All draws to be honoured at a later date

Following the latest Government advice surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, the Lancashire Cricket Foundation has taken the decision to temporarily suspend its lotteries with immediate effect.

During these challenging and unprecedented times, the health and safety of the Foundation’s staff, lottery agents and lottery members is of the utmost priority. Colleagues and lottery agents will be following the Government’s guidelines to stay indoors and keep safe.

As this has a clear impact on being able to bring in the proceeds to conduct the draw, the decision has been taken to suspend the undertaking of the draw each week, until advised it is safe to do so.

Once back-dated collections of subscription fees can be undertaken, draws that have been put on hold will take place on re-arranged dates. No weekly draws will be missed, but instead drawn at different times to the original schedule.

Members who pay by Direct Debit will still have their payments collected as normal, so please do not cancel your subscription - these payments will be credited to your account in the usual manner to ensure that you are in all of the re-arranged draws when they resume.

The Lancashire Cricket Foundation looks forward to resuming the lotteries once it is safe to do so and we would like to thank everybody for their patience and support during this difficult time.

Please keep up your support – you make a massive difference to all our work across the local community and grassroots cricket.
