2022 Lancashire Knockout Cup Final Fast Approaching
The 2022 Lancashire Knockout Cup Final is fast approaching with Longridge CC and defending Champions Ormskirk CC set to battle it out at Emirates Old Trafford.
The final which is scheduled for Sunday the 11th of September will see Longridge CC in their first ever Lancashire Knockout Cup Final.
Meanwhile, Ormskirk CC will be searching for a fifth title having won in 1999, 2014, 2017 and of course last year in 2021.
Both sides are eagerly awaiting the match, having secured their spot in the final back in July.
History was made during the Longridge CC’s semi-final, when the Preston-based side, reached the final of the competition for the first time after securing a victory against Leigh CC by 98 runs.
Meanwhile, the other semi-final was between Ormskirk CC and Northern CC and it was the reigning champions who triumphed by 4 wickets.
