Connecting Clubs, Inspiring Players: Lancashire Cricket Expo 2026 Recap

The Lancashire Cricket Expo 2026 brought together clubs, sponsors, businesses, and cricket players enthusiasts from all over the North West for a brilliant celebration of recreational cricket at Emirates Old Trafford. 

Jen Barden, Managing Director of Lancashire Cricket Foundation, was excited by the enthusiasm for the Expo and said Itreally important for grassroots cricket because it gives the opportunity to clubs, playersvolunteers to engage with new and exciting brands, make connections across the game, and link into Lancashire cricket Foundation staff for advice and support.” 

Exhibitors from across the sports, tech, and community sectors showcased new ideas, products, and support services designed to help clubs grow on and off the field. From kit and equipment to club management solutions, there was plenty to explore for every cricket enthusiast.

David Lloyd, representing Expo sponsor Forza enjoyed the atmosphere of the Expo and said Its been good to see the kids, parents and clubs coming here so we can show them what we do."

Attendees enjoyed a programme of expert talks and demonstrations covering club development, junior cricket, and some incredible masterclasses from Lancashire players and coaches. Highlights included sessions led by Women’s team captain Ellie Threlkeld, England legend Kate Cross, and Men’s Head Coach Steven Croft, each offering practical insights and fresh inspiration for the season ahead. These were not to be missed!

Throughout the venue, the atmosphere was electric with networking, collaboration, and a shared passion for strengthening grassroots cricket across the North West.
