Finalists Confirmed For 2022 Lancashire Knockout Cup

Longridge CC and defending Champions Ormskirk CC book their spots in the Lancashire Knockout Cup Final.

The Lancashire Knockout Cup Final will be between Longridge CC and reigning Champions Ormskirk CC, with Emirates Old Trafford once again set to host the showpiece event.

The final which is scheduled for September will see Longridge CC in their first ever Lancashire Knockout Cup Final.

Meanwhile, Ormskirk CC will be searching for a fifth title having won in 1999, 2014, 2017 and of course last year in 2021.

The semi-final matches were played on Sunday the 17th of July and for Longridge CC, history was made. The Preston-based side, reached the final of the competition for the first time in their history after securing a victory against Leigh CC by 98 runs.

The other semi-final was between Ormskirk CC and Northern CC and it was the reigning champions who triumphed by 4 wickets.
