Lancashire Cricket Foundation Seeks Creative Design Team for New Heritage Experience at Emirates Old Trafford

Lancashire Cricket Foundation (LCF) are looking for an Exhibition Design & Interpretation team to create a new heritage experience at Emirates Old Trafford.

The National Lottery Heritage Fund have awarded LCF a Development Phase grant to develop plans for a new heritage hub, stadium trail and community outreach programme. Located at Emirates Old Trafford, the heritage hub will feature interactive displays, oral histories and hands-on exhibits showcasing Lancashire’s cricketing heritage. New displays are also planned for the Stadium’s Pavilion and in the tunnels and concourse areas around the ground.

Established in 1857, Emirates Old Trafford is the second oldest Test Match venue in England and has hosted international cricket since 1884. Over 160 years, the iconic venue has changed, evolved, and hosted many memorable games and events. Similarly, cricket clubs and leagues across Lancashire have evolved with a wealth of stories to share. Much of this history is captured in the club’s collection of cricket memorabilia, which includes books, paintings, photographs, trophies, balls and bats.

LCF are looking for a creative Exhibition Design & Interpretation team to bring this rich cricketing heritage to life to engage and inspire new and diverse audiences.
