Statement on Junior Cricket Tours

It has come to our attention that a number of cricket tours are currently being organised by individual coaches and private coaching companies across the region. We would like to clarify that these tours are entirely independent, and Lancashire Cricket is neither involved with, nor endorses them.

Please rest assured that participation in such tours has no bearing whatsoever on a young player’s selection for Lancashire Cricket’s County Age Group (CAG) Pathway. Selection for the CAG programme is based purely on merit - assessed through performance, potential, and the Club’s renowned official talent identification process.

Any implication or suggestion that involvement in an independently organised tour could influence selection within the Club’s pathway is entirely inaccurate.
