One player, Shakir, shared what the tournament means during the holy month:

"Playing during Ramadan is really good for my mental health. Training and competing after breaking fast gives me energy, it keeps me active, and it’s such a great way to stay social. Everything’s adapted around fasting and prayer times, so we can fully commit to both our faith and the game we love.”

Mushi added:

"Its more than just a game; it’s about unity, discipline, and gratitude. It shows that faith, community, and sport can come together in a powerful way.”

And from  the officials’ perspective, Umpire Shah said:

"It gets very competitive, but we are all celebrating together. We love cricket and it’s a privilege to come out to Emirates Old Trafford and officiate these teams. The level gets better and better, and with Finals Night coming up, I can’t wait for next week.”
