The ECB has launched the Girls' Cricket Accelerator Toolkit, a new resource designed to help clubs start, grow and strengthen their girls' cricket offer.
Suitable for clubs at every stage of their journey, the toolkit provides practical guidance, resources and support to create welcoming, inclusive environments for girls and young women. It also helps clubs develop clear pathways from All Stars Cricket and Dynamos Cricket through to junior leagues and women's cricket.
The toolkit covers four key areas:
- Step Into Her Shoes – helping clubs understand the experiences of girls and young women and create a more inclusive environment.
- Know Your Starting Point – a club profiling quiz that generates a tailored six-week action plan based on your club's current stage of development.
- Tailored Pathways for Every Age – guidance on providing age-appropriate opportunities for girls from introductory programmes through to hardball cricket.
- Embedding Girls' Cricket into Your Club – practical advice on creating sustainable girls' sections through playing opportunities, volunteers, facilities and an inclusive club culture.
Whether you're looking to launch a girls' section or build on an existing programme, the Girls' Cricket Accelerator Toolkit is an excellent resource to support the growth of women's and girls' cricket.
