U10 & U12 Lancashire Girls Assessment Centres

What are the Assessment Centres?

Lancashire cricket has created a NEW early engagement programme for girls aged Under 10 and Under 12 to enjoy pathway cricket at Lancashire.

These assessment centres are for:

  • Girls who want to try cricket and see if it’s a sport they enjoy
  • Girls who are interested in being part of a Lancashire pathway programme.
  • The sessions are fun, safe and enjoyable, delivered by experienced Lancashire coaches in a supportive environment.

Does my daughter need to have played cricket before?

No previous cricket experience is required, we want to give equal opportunities for every girl in Lancashire.

message from the head coach Phoebe Graham “It’s incredible to create a cricket programme that encourages young girls to play the game. There has never been a more exciting time to be a female cricketer, and I hope this programme inspires the next generation of players for the Red Rose."

Where are the assessment centres?

The assessment centres are being hosted across eight locations in seven regions throughout Lancashire, they have been carefully arranged to ensure minimal travel for participants while promoting equal opportunities for all. All assessment centre sessions are provided free of charge.
