At the Lancashire Cricket Foundation, safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children, young people, and adults at risk who participate in cricket across the county.

This Safeguarding Policy outlines our responsibilities, expectations, and procedures to ensure the welfare of every individual involved in our programmes, clubs, and community activities. It aligns with national legislation, ECB policies and procedures, and best practice guidance.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. Whether you are a coach, volunteer, parent, official, or participant, we all have a role to play in creating a culture of safety, respect, and support. The Lancashire Cricket Foundation works collaboratively with clubs, leagues, statutory agencies, and other partners to uphold the highest safeguarding standards.

We are grateful for the continued dedication of those across the cricket community who champion safeguarding and ensure that cricket remains a positive experience for all.

If you have a concern about the safety or welfare of a child, young person, or adult at risk, it is essential to report it promptly. Our safeguarding team is here to support you.
