Last year, the Lancashire Cricket Foundation unveiled the Memory Wall – a new installation where people can pay tribute to and celebrate a loved one through a personalised plaque. Located underneath the tunnel behind the Pavilion Reception, the wall is the perfect way to remember a loved one and be part of a lasting legacy here at Emirates Old Trafford.

The initiative was launched following a generous donation to the Lancashire Cricket Foundation from Lancashire Cricket Member, Geoff Perkins, made in memory of his late wife Bridget.

The high quality plaques are made from zinc with the famous Lancashire Cricket Red Rose and text etched in the metal. There are two sizes of plaque available:

Small - 200mm x 200mm x 3mm

Large – 400mmx  400mm x 3mm

Plaques are available to purchase through a donation to the Lancashire Cricket Foundation, the Club’s official charity. The money raised from the initiative will directly support our vision of positively impacting lives through cricket. Small plaques are available for a minimum donation of £500 and large plaques available for a minimum donation of £1,250. By purchasing a plaque, you'll be supporting the growth of cricket across Lancashire, funding grassroots programmes, community initiatives, and youth development opportunities.

Lancashire is a vibrant county, but there are significant social challenges. High levels of deprivation, limited access to sports facilities, and health inequalities are pressing concerns. Young people, in particular, often lack positive role models and opportunities to engage in constructive activities. Cricket provides a powerful platform to address these issues by promoting healthy lifestyles, teaching valuable life skills, and uniting communities.
