Cathy brings extensive experience in sports development, school sport, and grassroots sport to the Board of the Lancashire Cricket Foundation.

Recently retired, Cathy led PE and school sport in Wigan for twelve years winning the Youth Sport Trust’s, School Games Organiser of the year award in 2018. Her experience includes safeguarding, the strategic development of sport, inclusion and school sport.

Cathy is also the vice chair of Wigan Athletic Community Trust a nationally recognised and award-winning charity, improving health, life chances and positively engaging in the local community of Wigan.

Within cricket, Cathy is the current secretary and deputy safeguarding officer of Winstanley Park Cricket Club and is an active volunteer at the club.

Cathy is committed to supporting the Foundation to grow the game in Lancashire, strengthening relationships with schools and clubs and ensuring everyone who wants to be involved in the great game of cricket across Lancashire has an opportunity to be involved
