John brings extensive experience in governance, executive leadership, and grassroots sport to the Board of the Lancashire Cricket Foundation.
He has held senior governance roles within the charity sector, including serving as Deputy Chair of the Trustees’ Council of PDSA, a national Royal Charter charity. His experience includes board oversight of governance, risk and safeguarding within regulated environments.
John has also held significant executive leadership roles in the commercial sector, including as Chief Executive Officer of Makro Cash and Carry SRO, where he led a large international organisation employing over 6,000 people.
Within cricket, John has experience at county, league, and club level. He previously served as Managing Director of the Lancashire Cricket Foundation and has held voluntary roles as Chair and President of Norden Cricket Club. He was also a member of the Management Executive Committee of the Central Lancashire Cricket League prior to joining the LCF Board.
John is committed to strong governance, safeguarding and inclusive leadership, supporting the Foundation’s work to grow the game and strengthen communities across Lancashire.
