The LCF has developed a range of holiday camps aimed at enhancing all participants skills, experiences and enjoyment of the sport. All courses are open to boys and girls, although we do run some ‘Girls Only’ camps.

All camps are a mixture of small sided games, skill development, drills, challenges and actual games out in the middle. Camps. We provide spot prizes to reward participants effort, arrange guest appearances from Lancashire and Manchester Original male & female stars where we build the connection from the grass roots to the professional game and to inspire the next generation. We also provide participants the opportunity to experience a Lancashire Cricket ‘money can’t buy experience’. Last year we gave away the opportunity to one lucky person to visit Emirates Old Trafford and meet Jos Butler.

We also gave 25 participants the experience of taking part in the guard of honour for Lancashire Thunder games. Each participant also gets the opportunity to register for 2 tickets for one of the following games at Emirates Old Trafford:

Wed 17th July Notts Outlaws – Vitality T20 Blast

Thurs 8th Aug Middlesex – Metro Bank One Day Cup

Wed 14th Aug Worcestershire – Metro Bank One Day Cup

Thurs 29th Aug-Sun 1st Sept Hampshire - County Championship

Lancashire Cricket Foundation have two options for getting involved in a camp this year! Option number 1 is a softball camp and option number 2 is hardball camp, you can find out more below.

Softball Camp – 5-10 years of age

Softball camps have a focus on enjoyment, fun and development. An introduction to cricket with softball games, skills, and challenges. These days have a game based focus, with small games, skill games and fun challenges. Open to both boys and girls, no experience of cricket needed. All equipment will be provided.

Hardball Camp – 11 – 15 years of age

The hardball camp is for those with experience of hardball cricket. The days are focused on skill development, whilst introducing more tactical/ decision making elements into practice. A focus on refining core skills, expanding knowledge base and understanding of own game along with leadership and additional skills. Challenging the basics at pace and under pressure a theme throughout. The Lancashire Way framework is used across these camps.
